The Wall of Honor dynamically utilizes the motion of the visitor to create a dramatic visual experience. As visitors move from east to west, the wall’s folded surface appears to transform from a continuous photo-etched image of running, wild horses into an expansive area for donor recognition. Approaching from west to east, the visual sequence is reversed. Going beyond the static nature of most donor walls, this concept appropriately makes use of movement to dramatically recognize the individuals whose generosity helped to realize the museum.
